Science Diagram ("we", "us") provides an AI-assisted scientific diagram generator at sciencediagram.com. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
If you sign in with Google, we access only your basic profile (name, email, account ID) to create and identify your account. We do not request access to any other Google services or data. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Diagram generation is performed by AI model providers acting as processors on our behalf; prompts are sent to them solely to produce your requested image. Hosting and network delivery are provided by our infrastructure vendors (e.g. Cloudflare), and site usage measurement by Google Analytics.
We keep your account data while your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us; we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days of a verified request.
We use essential cookies required for sign-in sessions. We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (which pages are visited, which country and language, and where visitors arrive from). Google Analytics sets its own cookies and processes data on our behalf; we have enabled IP anonymisation so your full IP address is not sent to Google. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run ads.
We additionally record privacy-preserving page-view counts on our own servers. That measurement sets no cookie and stores no raw IP address: visitors are counted using a daily-rotating hash that cannot be linked back to you or across days.
You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking analytics scripts in your browser.
The service is intended for teachers, students aged 13+, and researchers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
